Burning Daylight

ARP Books reached out to us to design a publication for local musician and poet, Christine Fellows. Musical theatre meets poetry in Burning Daylight, a poetry collection, and song cycle drawing together the Yukon Gold Rush of the early 20th century and the Arctic iron ore mining mega-projects of the modern day. It's author examines dislocation, isolation, family, and frailty, reflected in our relationship with the ever-changing northern landscape. Imaginative collages by artist and designer, Alicia Smith, are woven within its pages. The diecut cover reveals the narrative play of the imagery within.
